Many are under the impression that EA have themselves blocked players from progressing further, while others are thinking that the original poster has simply picked up a Disc copy of the game without completing the ‘initial download.’ We recently reported that Jedi Survivor physical copies that will still require a download, so it’s surprising to see gamers still unaware of this. The Reddit post, which has expectedly been received with mixed response, is currently dividing the community. The Jedi Survivor day one patch is allegedly needed for players to progress further in the game, with one player on Reddit highlighting this potential road-block. Jedi Survivor players are seething, not just because of yet another poor PC port, but because now the game is apparently unplayable without the day one patch.
